Bobby Gene Russell, 87, of Calvert City, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at his home.
Bobby was born May 22, 1930 in Calvert City to the late Allen and Lizzy Stallcup Russell. He worked for the city of Calvert City as the parks manager.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia Ann Russell of Calvert City; brother, Delbert Russell and wife Nell of Calvert City; sisters, Norma Jean Norman of Calvert City and Annie Walker Boyd and
husband Tommy of Lone Oak; daughters, Lisa Russell of Calvert City, Teri Bonvicino and husband Vince of Granite City Ill., Rhonda Watson of Calvert City, Belinda Johnson and husband Rick of Calvert City and
Melissa Wilhelm and husband Greg of Calvert City; sons, Bobby Joe Russell of Calvert City and Ricky Coomer of Calvert City; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Mr. Russell is preceded in death by his brother, William Russell; sisters, Lois Walker, Lubbie Nell Joice and Virginia Sue Russell; daughter, Polly Ann Irvan and granddaughter, Alexis Marie House.
Funeral services for Mr. Russell will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at Neal & Lambert Family Funeral Home of Calvert City, with Mark Shoemaker and Jeff Brasher officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvert City Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until
1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at the funeral home.
