Mr. Billy Gene Langston, age, 91 of Benton, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Born Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1925, in Paducah, he was the son of the late Orbie Eugene Langston and the late Orene (Prince). He was a retired electrician with the IBEW Local 816 in Paducah, he was a 60-year member of New Harmony Baptist Church, Benton.
Surviving are daughter, Louawana McClure and husband Randy of Benton; grandson, Jason Brian McClure and wife Marcie of Benton; great-grandchildren; Noah and Nani McClure both of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Lunell (Reed) Langston; one brother, Bobby Joe Langston and one sister, Mary Ann Langston.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton. Rev. Van Russell will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
