Sheriff’s deputies make DUI, public intoxication arrests

On July 9 Deputy Chris Greenfield was dispatched to a disturbance on Benton Birmingham Road. Deputy Greenfield arrested Donald Scott Fannin, 34, of Benton and charged him with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Assault 4th Degree.

On June 8 Deputy Greenfield observed a vehicle on US 641 North weaving. Deputy Greenfield conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of the driver, Rickey Colley, 53, of Mayfield for Operating a Motor Vehicle U/ Influence ALC/Drugs?etc and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree further investigation resulted in additional charges of Prescription / Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container and Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug.

On July 9 at approximately 11 p.m., Deputy Chris Greenfield responded to Purchase Parkway in reference to a possibly intoxicated driver. Deputy Greenfield located the vehicle and as a result of the ensuing investigation Timisha N. Brandon, 32, of Benton was arrested and charged with the following:
1 – Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc .08 Aggravating Circumstances 1st Off.
2 – Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
3 – Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
4 – Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance
5 – No Registration Plates
6 – No Registration Receipt
