Marshall County Schools announced the hiring of Rob McDonald as the new MCHS Head Baseball Coach. He has spent the past two years serving as an assistant coach at Marshall County. Coach McDonald has over 30 years coaching experience in baseball at different levels.
He has head coaching experience at Division 1 level serving as a Head Coach at Murray State University and also an assistant at Memphis and Mississippi State. Coach McDonald also spent time as the head baseball coach at Murray and Union County high schools. He is known in the baseball circles as a top clinician and has spoken across the nation at ABCA national convention and various state clinics.
”I am looking forward to taking over MCHS Baseball Program. We have some quality guys in the program and some good young guys coming up. We hope to continue the growth in the baseball program that Coach Mike Johnson has established” stated McDonald.
