Cayce Hendrickson of Benton is one of 85 student-athletes at the University of Missouri to make the 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll. A total of 1,245 student-athletes were named to the honor roll Monday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Cayce just completed her sophomore season as a member of the Mizzou women’s golf team. During the fall season, Cayce played in all four fall tournaments for the Tigers with her best finish coming October 3-4 at the Johnie Imes Invitational where she finished 3-over par.
Her top individual finish occurred at The Club at Old Hawthorne when she placed T-19th and her best round of the fall was a 71 shot in the first round at the Johnie Imes Invitational as well as the Jim West Challenge October 9-10.
This spring, Cayce competed in all four spring tournaments, completing a run of eight consecutive appearances in the Tigers’ lineup over the 2016-17 season. In her spring opener, she shot 11-over at the Florida State Match Up February 10-12 that included a final round score of 71. Cayce’s best finish of the year came on April 7-9 at the Ping/ASU Invitational where as an individual, shot 9-over.
