Exceptional Center hosts Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament

Tyler Dotson hits the ceremony tee shot to kick off this year’s Mike Miller Memorial Tournament to benefit the Exceptional Center.

The Marshall County Exceptional Center hosted the Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday at Calvert City Country Club, originally scheduled for April 22nd but rescheduled due to inclement weather. The long-running tournament was re-named four years ago after Miller, a long-time friend and supporter of the Center.

Approximately 12 teams played in the Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The dinner and auction went on as scheduled on April 22nd.

The Marshall County Exceptional Center is a 501(c) 3 private non-profit agency for adults with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities with the majority of our funding comes from community support and fundraising events.
