Seth Adams, a South Marshall Middle School eighth grader, won the 2017 National Geography Bee held at SMMS on January 12. The event was coordinated by Mr. Chris Harvey. Seth will now take a state qualifying exam. If he passes, he will take part in the State Geography Bee held in late March. He will have a chance to win a trip to the National Geography Bee in Washington, D.C. and a $50,000 college scholarship. For more info, you can visit www.nationalgeographic.org
