Marshall County Refuse Board Chairman Marvin Stokes along with Judge/Executive Kevin Neal, Commissioner Dr. Rick Cocke, Troy English and John Miller show off two new pieces of equipment the Refuse Department was fortunate to receive through grant money and a gift.
A shredder was purchased with a $68,000 grant and the recycling trailer, a gift from PACRO (Paducah Area Community Reuse Organization), will as the slogan suggests, continue to help Marshall County ‘Work for a Better Tomorrow’.
“The county continues to seek grant money and work with groups such as PACRO, so the taxpayers can receive their fair share of these funds”, Commissioner Cocke said.
