Chester A. Williams, age 86 of Hardin, KY died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. He was a self-employed farmer and of the Church of Christ faith. Born Tuesday, July 8, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, MI, he was the son of the late John Williams and the late Ada (Eggert) Williams. Surviving are sister, Evelyn Conner of Cheboygan, MI, nephews, Donald Ackerman of Hardin, KY, Randy Williams of Farwell, MI, Jimmy Conners of Cheboygan, MI, nieces, Patricia Williams of Farwell, MI, Sharon Williams of Farwell, MI, and Carolyn Darnell of Hardin, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Williams. A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Murray Memorial Gardens located at 641 North Murray, Kentucky 42071. Interment will follow. No visitation is scheduled. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
