Jacob Dallas Glover, 21 of Calvert City, Ky born to Roxane Croley-Hicks and Abe Glover on October 6, 1995 became a guardian angel to many on November 13, 2016. Jake now looks over the ones he loved the most in life. Roxane Croley-Hicks, his Mom whom he adored and was always his rock. Janet Croley, his Maw whom helped raise him like a son, not a grandchild. Emma Glover, young and newly wed wife of 5 months. Jacke Hicks, whom in his eyes was Dad. Abe Glover, father and friend. Dillon Croley, oldest brother and protector. Sean Glover, younger brother and they always had each others back. Logan Hicks, youngest brother and best friend. Dakota Lane, older brother and friend. Brantley and Luke Croley, his nephews whom he adored greatly. Uncles whom helped raise him, Stacy Croley and Aaron Croley. Special friends in his life, Cody Simpson, Amber Reynolds and Bailey Napier. Jake also leaves behind his grandparents, Thomas and Susan Glover; Uncles, Mike Glover and Rob Glover; Mother and Father in Law, Michael and Shelley Scillion and Brother in Law Blake Scillion; Great Grandmothers, Martha Croley, Betty Glover; Several Great Uncles and Aunts, also 2 cousins Logan Croley and Mariah Croley. J. was reunited with his Paw, Dorse Croley, at his new kitchen table to start their wonderful conversations they always enjoyed having on a daily basis. Jake was the most caring and loving person anyone would ever meet. He made an impact on many people during the 21 years God allowed him to be with us. Our hope is that he seen the impacts he did make. Our Jake was and always will be our "Teddy Bear" and "Gentle Giant". We will miss those funny faces and jokes he always made to keep us laughing. Jake will always be kept close in our hearts and our memories where he will stay forever young. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Doug Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
