ROWENA B. NORTHCOTT, 91, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away at 2:45PM Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Rowena was a member of the Benton Church of Christ. She retired from Air Products in Calvert City where she worked as a payroll clerk. She was the past president of the Benton Women’s Club and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Marshall County Hospital. She was an avid fan of Marshall County Basketball and University of Kentucky Basketball. She unconditionally loved her family more than anything in the world
She is survived by her son, Mike Northcott and wife Ellen of Benton, KY; her daughter, Virginia Dale Brown and husband Charles of Symsonia, KY; grandchildren, Stephanie White and husband Matt, LeAnn Sedlock and husband Tommy, Todd Northcott and wife Amy, Brad Brown and wife Stephanie and Beau Brown; great grandchildren: Johna McGregor and husband Wes, Carolina Donohoo and husband Ethan, Sydney Sedlock, Kole Sedlock, Neely Northcott, Alex Brown, Maci Brown and Blaze Brown; and one great great grandchild, Ella McGregor.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and several sisters. Her parents were Will Brewer and Louise Brewer.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Marshall County Memory Gardens. David Hendrickson will officiate and burial will follow. Friends may call from 10:00AM until 1:30PM Tuesday, June 28, 2016 Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
