Charlene (Davis) Higgins, age 94, of Benton, KY, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker and was a member of Heartland Worship Center. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Davis and the late Flora (Culp) Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Edgar Higgins; two brothers: Charles Davis and J.C. Davis; and one sister: June Byrd. She is survived by two sons: Kevin Higgins of Benton, KY and Ronnie Higgins of Gilbertsville, KY; one brother: Ray Davis of Gilbertsville, KY; two sisters: Irene English of Benton, KY and Marie Hill of Gallatlin, TN; two grandchildren: Jason Higgins of Gilbertsville, KY and Jennifer Enoch of Gilbertsville, KY; and two great grandchildren: Trey Blair of Florida and Ty Higgins of Gilbertsville, KY. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, in Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2016. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2016, with Johnny Sams and Kevin Higgins officiating. Interment will be at Birmingham Cemetery, Benton, KY.
