MARTIN RILEY, William Martin Riley, 81, of Benton, KY, passed away at 1:39AM Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Martin retired from B.F. Goodrich where he worked as an electrician. He was a Member of the Sharpe Church of Christ, and the IBEW Local 816.
He is survived by his two sons, Ken Riley of Huntsville, AL and Bill Baker of Hemet, CA; his one daughter, Pattie Metzger of Grand Rivers, KY; two brothers, James Riley of Benton, KY and Galon Riley of Benton, KY; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Riley of Natches, MS, Tabby Myers of Eddyville, KY, and Tera Graham of Benton, KY; and five great grandchildren, Carson Myers, Roman Myers, Quinn Myers, Cayson Graham, and Carter Graham.
Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” (Moyers) Riley; his son, Kerry Riley; two sisters, Bertha Harrell and Alveta Warren; and one great grandchild, Lincoln Graham. His parents were Lake Riley and Leeoda Fooks Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro. Murray Riley will officiate. Burial will follow at the Sharpe Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
