Debbie Collie obitDebra Kay “Debbie” Lehman Collie was born July 19, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Lake Way Nursing Center in Benton, Kentucky.

Debbie fought a good fight with cancer for over five years. She had a life dedicated to serving others and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Debbie loved her family, music, fishing and her church family, who gave her love and support. She also enjoyed bird watching, spending time in her garden and reading books. Debbie was a member of Hardin Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, David Collie and wife Dana of Benton, KY and Allen Collie of Clinton, KY; one daughter, Sharon Collie Wilson and her husband Otis of Hopkinsville, KY; along with grandchildren, Hannah Collie, Sarah Phelps and Dillion Houser and step-grandchildren, Cheyenne Wilson, Margaret Wilson and Otis Wilson, III. Debbie is also survived by her twin brother, David R. Lehman and his wife Kathy of Hendersonville, TN, her longtime companion, Charlie Fortier and by her first cousins, Cathy Norman Daugherty and husband Jim of Elida, NM and Laurie Norman of Las Cruces, NM.

Debbie was preceded in death by parents, Tyrus Lehman and Pauline (Polly) Lehman of Symsonia, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Hardin Baptist Church, 6867 US Highway 641 South, Hardin, Kentucky. Bro. Ricky Cunningham will officiate and burial will follow at the New Sand Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the funeral hour at the church on Tuesday.
