Average retail gasoline prices in Kentucky have fallen 3.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.96 gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.04 a gallon.
Prices in the Lakes Area are ranging from $1.81 to $1.99 a gallon.
Including the change in gas prices in Kentucky during the past week, prices yesterday were 41.2 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 6.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 15.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 34.9 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
