DRAFFENVILLE – The 2nd annual Just Jazz-n-Desserts was held Tuesday evening in the Marshall County High School Commons featuring MCHS Jazz Bands 1 and 2, Tessa Northcutt and Matthew Youngblood along with special guest the Paducah Jazz Ensemble.
A silent auction was held and entry into the event came with a delicious array of desserts donated by area restaurants.
The Marshall County Jazz Bands were joined by the Paducah Jazz Ensemble for a final number to end the evening.
The band competed in the Mineral Area Jazz Festival on March 12th in Park Hills, MO, and were treated to a workshop with former Tonight Show band leader and trumpet player Doc Severinsen.
