KSP Searching for an Escapee from Western Kentucky Correctional Complex

On February 17, 2015 at approximately 9:00 P.M., the Western
Kentucky Correctional Complex, located near Eddyville, KY, contacted the Kentucky
State Police, Post 1 Mayfield.  The staff advised after a head count search, they
discovered an inmate missing.  Lostia M. Shreves, of Cecilia, KY is described as a
40 year old white female, 5'7" with short brown hair and blue eyes. Shreves was last
seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, Khaki pants, white t-shirt, a fisherman style hat
and black boots at the time of her escape.  Shreves is serving time for a Probation
Violation for Felony Offense. The charges that led to the probation violation were,
Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, Unlawful distribution of meth
precursors - 1st offense, and Burglary 3rd.

A grey sweatshirt and other inmate clothing has been located near the Western
Kentucky Correctional Complex grounds.  It is possible that Shreves may have changed
her clothing.

At 9:12 P.M. Kentucky State Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a
residence near the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex.  It is possible that
Shreves may be in this vehicle.  The vehicle is described as a Maroon 1997 Ford F150
bearing Kentucky License Plate 8472CG

The Kentucky State Police is investigating the escape.  If anyone has any contact
