Domestic disturbance in Marshall leads to arrest of Grand Rivers man

A Grand Rivers man was arrested Tuesday on assault charges, after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Marshall County.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a home on Southwood Drive. Deputies talked to a witness who told them that he had seen 20-year-old Austin L. Doom of Grand Rivers assaulting the victim.

Doom was arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault-domestic violence. Deputies also cited Doom and 32-year-old Patricia N. Hamelin, of Gilbertsville for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
