
DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County senior D.J. Pigg was recognized before the Marshals tipped off against Murray Tuesday for becoming the 16th member of the 1,000 point club in boy’s program history.
D.J. scored his 1,000th point in the Marshals game at home against Paducah Tilghman on January 29th. D.J. followed that up by setting a new 3-point record against at Livingston Central on February 1st, breaking the old record of 222 held by Jimmie Lee Holder from 2000-2004.
D.J., who is also an avid golfer and member of the Marshall County team, is the son of Jennifer and Jason Pigg of Benton.
