On January 27th at 6:51pm, Deputies stopped a vehicle on Egners Ferry Road in order to serve a bench warrant. Ryan S. Cothran age 35 of Benton was arrested on a Marshall County bench warrant. Further investigation resulted in Deputies finding various pills and marijuana. The investigation is continuing as officers identify the pills. Cothran was charged by Deputy Dennis Lewis with Possession of Marijuana. Deputy Lewis was assisted by Deputies Steven Oakley and Cory Curtner as well as SGT. Steven Sanderson of Benton Police.
