(Benton, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Senior Vice President/Business Development Officer Jennifer Apple to Executive Vice President. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB.

Apple, with 33 years of banking experience at CFSB oversees several areas of the bank including marketing, public relations, call center and business services.  She has worked in areas such deposit operations, proof operations, electronic banking, teller, relationship banker, marketing, public relations, business development. She has been in CFSB management for the last 18 years. 

Jennifer (Sanders) Apple graduated from Marshall County High School, attended Murray State University and has graduated from several prestigious banking schools, such as the Kentucky Bankers General Banking School at the University of Louisville, the Mid-South School of Banking at the University of Memphis and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Jennifer is also very active in her community by serving on the CASA by the Lakes Board,  Community Kitchen, Relay for Life teams, former Special Olympics Volunteer and she is currently the Chairman of Murray Calloway Chamber of Commerce. 

Jennifer and her husband Terry live in Calloway County.  They have three children, Lyndsi Hughes, Ashleigh Murdock and Zack Apple.  They attend the First United Methodist Church of Murray.

CFSB Promotes Radcliffe to Executive Vice President

(Benton, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Senior Vice President/Compliance Officer J. Michael Radcliffe to Executive Vice President. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB. 

Radcliffe oversees the bank’s regulatory compliance program as well as loan review and credit analysis.  He has been in banking since 1988 and has worked as a teller, bookkeeper, trust assistant, credit analyst and credit department manager.   He has been with CFSB since December 2002 and assumed the role of compliance officer in 2005. 

Michael holds a B.S. in Finance from Murray State University.  He continued his banking education, graduating Cum Laude from the Paul W. Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.  He also received a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. 

Michael and his wife Leslie live in Draffenville.  They have three children, Ryan Fagan, Cailey Radcliffe and Jarrett Radcliffe. They are members at First Missionary Baptist Church of Benton.

CFSB Promotes Murrell to Senior Vice President

(Benton, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Vice President/Chief Information Officer Andrew Murrell to Senior Vice President. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB. 

Murrell coordinates the bank’s Information Technology Team and IT infrastructure.  He has been involved in every major IT project since he joined CFSB, including the analog to Cisco voice over ip phone system conversion, server virtualization and architecting the network for the corporate building. He has earned certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice, Microsoft MCP, Security+, Network+, and Netapp certifications. Andrew joined CFSB in June, 2002. 

He won the Annual Leadership Award in 2012 based on multiple nominations by fellow Team members who recognized his outstanding leadership qualities. Andy and his wife, Prisca, have two precious boys, Nicolas and Benjamin.  They reside in Murray.

CFSB Promotes Pittman to Senior Vice President

(Murray, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Calloway County Banking Center Manager/Vice President Sammy Jason Pittman to Senior Vice President. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB. 

Pittman graduated from Calloway County High School a member of the Class of 1998 and from Murray State University in 2003 with a degree in government law and international affairs.  He began his career at CFSB in December of 2008 as the Calloway County Banking Center Manager after previously being employed as Director of CFSB Center at Murray State University, supervising over 30 employees.  In addition to his responsibilities as Banking Center Manager, Pittman is also a commercial loan officer. 

Jason and his wife Amanda live in downtown Murray, where he has served six terms on the city council and is mayor Pro tem.  He has served on the finance, public safety, as well as long range planning committees and on the Murray Electric Board.  Jason also served as immediate Past President of the MSU Alumni association and Lions’ Club Past President. He is currently active in volunteering Junior Achievement of West KY, Director of MSU Alumni Corporation of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the Economic Restructuring Committee for Murray Main Street. His financial education includes a diploma from the Kentucky Bankers Association’s General Banking School, Class of 2011 and he is a 2014 graduate from Barret School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.

CFSB Promotes Waddell to Retail Banking Manager

(Benton, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Assistant Vice President John Allen Waddell to Retail Banking Manager of CFSB. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB. 

Waddell graduated from Marshall County High School, a member of the Class of 2008.  He began his career at CFSB in February of 2012 at the CFSB Benton Banking Center.   Waddell received a Bachelor of Science in Business with an Area in Finance from Murray State University, Class of 2012.  His financial education also includes his current enrollment at the Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Allen’s civic efforts include World Vision International, Kid’s Against Hunger and Murray First United Methodist Church’s Community Kitchen.  He resides in Benton with his wife Amy and son Jaxon.  They attend the First United Methodist Church of Murray.

CFSB Promotes Myers to Customer Relationship Manager

(Benton, KY)-Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) recently promoted Relationship Banker Cody Myers to Customer Relationship Manager of CFSB. The promotion was unanimously approved by CFSB President/CEO Betsy Flynn and the Community Financial Services Board of Directors. This move continues the organization’s quest to ensure customer service and secure the future of CFSB. 

Myers graduated from Marshall County High School, a member of the Class of 2010.  He began his career at CFSB in May of 2015 at the CFSB Benton Banking Center.   Cody will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business with an Area in Business Administration from Murray State University in May of 2016. 

Cody is also the First Missionary Baptist Church of Benton Worship Leader.  He resides in Benton with his wife Bailey and their Siberian Husky, Maggie.
