Credit Marshall County Schools for photo
The newly constructed South Marshall Middle School, which is located on US 641 North Spur in Benton (just south of the Purchase Parkway interchange), has chosen their principal.
The school, which will consolidate Benton Middle School and the current South Marshall Middle School, has chosen Mrs. Shannon Solomon, who has held the same position at Central Elementary School for almost nine years.
The new school will officially open in the fall of 2016.
