
A Benton man was arrested this weekend on an outstanding warrant and additional drug charges.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies responded on Saturday to a disturbance on Karen Faye Lane in Benton.
Deputies learned that 37-year-old Darryl W. Tubbs had an active warrant out of Marshall County for trafficking in a controlled substance, and being a persistent felony offender.
As deputies arrested Tubbs, a pill bottle containing a controlled substance reportedly fell from his pants pocket.
Tubbs was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and was booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.
