Marshall County Sheriff’s Report – December 14

On Saturday December 12th Deputy Cory Curtner was dispatched to Karen Faye Ln in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival deputies learned that Darryl W. Tubbs 37, of Benton, had an active warrant out of Marshall County for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree and a Persistent Felony Offender. Tubbs was placed in custody and a bottle fell from his pant leg that contained a single controlled substance pill. Deputy Josh Anderson then charged Tubbs with Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Drug Unspecified).

On Sunday December 13th Deputy Josh Anderson had information regarding a subject staying on Boatright Ln that had an active warrant. Deputy Anderson made contact with Ryan D. Tucker 30, of Benton, and confirmed that he did have an active warrant thru Probation and Parole. Tucker was sitting on the couch and there was a tray with a marijuana joint and several items of paraphernalia in plain sight. Tucker was then charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

For the week of December 7th through December 14th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following: 9 Transports, 19 Traffic Accidents, 2 DUI’s, 8 Motorist Assists, 10 Burglary/Theft reports, 7 Disturbances, 8 Investigations, 4 Domestic Disturbances, 27 Warrants Served, 8 Civils Served, 21 Extra Patrol Requests, 11 Have a Deputy Call and 18 Traffic Stops contributing to a call volume of 252 calls responded to.
