Mr. David Heslar Judah, age 82 of Gilbertsville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Saturday, March 4, 1933 in Kansas City, MO, he was a retired computer programmer and was a veteran of the United States Navy having served honorably during the Korean Conflict. He formerly taught the adult bible class at St. Matthew’s by the Lake and was an active member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Judah is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Schneider) Judah of Gilbertsville, KY; one daughter Allene Polak, husband Greg of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren, Chad Polak, wife Lauren of Denver, CO, Melyssa Polak of Ann Arbor, MI and Torey Polak of Denver, CO; one great-grandchild Greyson Polak of Dever, CO and one sister Judy Ellis of Bloomington, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025. Rev. Bob Cain will officiate. Visitation for Mr. Judah will begin after 1:00 pm on Saturday December 5, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home and will conclude with the Celebration of His Life service at 3:00 p.m.
