Terry Culver, age 65 of Calvert City, KY died on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a welder for National Maintenance, and was a firefighter for 38 years, 15 of which he served as Assistant Chief of the Calvert City Fire Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Calvert City.
Born Friday, January 20, 1950 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Wilson Hughes Culver and the late Opal (Williams) Culver.
Surviving are sons, Jason Culver of Calvert City, KY and Erik Culver of Colquitt, GA, brother, Garry Culver of Kuttawa, KY; and 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025, Ricky Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Brooks Chapel Cemetery, Dexter, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
