Mr. Marvin Walter Brunoehler, Sr., age 86 of Benton, KY (Aurora Community) passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015, at his home.
Born Saturday, September 21, 1929 in Aurora, IL, he was the son of the late Walter Brunoehler and the late Hattie (Cressman) Brunoehler and his step-mother, the late Margery (Kirby) Brunoehler.
He began his 33 year career in the automotive sales in 1955, working in Illinois, California and retiring to Kentucky. He attended St. John’s Episcopal Church in Murray, KY and was of the Episcopal Faith.
Surviving are his loving companion of 22 years, Patricia Bird of Benton, KY, 4 sons, Brad Brunoehler of Sheffield, IL, Brian Brunoehler of Benton, KY, Marvin Walter Brunoehler, Jr. of Aurora, IL and James Brunoehler of Aurora, IL; 3 daughters, Donna Bambacht of Saint Charles, IL, Denise Bretsnyder of Hendersonville, TN and Dawn Leigh of Fort Myers, FL; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and step-mother, 2 sons, Gary Brunoehler and Scott Brunoehler.
Memorial services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church located at 1620 Main St. Murray, KY 42071 with the Rev. Matt Bradley officiating. A reception is to follow the service at the St. John’s Episcopal Church fellowship hall.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
