Molene “Momo” York, 94, of Benton, KY passed away at 8:35AM Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
She was a member of Olive United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Hilda Norwood and husband Wendell of Benton, KY;four grandchildren, Belinda Creason and husband Ricky; Keith Norwood and wife Dee, Carolyn Parrett and husband Ron and David Norwood and wife Jessica; great grandchildren, Candace Miller, Natasha Norwood, Blake Norwood, Stephen Dunn, Natalie Norwood, Evan Norwood, Chandra Clonan, Rae Crosby, Trevor Norwood, Kamra Dunn, Carter Norwood and Owen Norwood; great great grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Olivia Miller, Chloe Crosby, Sophie Crosby, Gabrielle Norwood, Emma Clonan, Kash Henson and Trip Henson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence B. York and one brother, Homer Holt. Her parents were Solon Holt and Grady Travis Holt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rick Miller will officiate and burial will follow in the Olive Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
