Charles Edward “Tot” Jackson, 91, of Benton, KY passed away at 3:43AM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
He was a member of the Benton Church of Christ, and the former co-owner of Peel & Holland Insurance. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda McGregor Jackson; his daughter, Yvonne Horbobetz and her husband Eric of Nashville, TN; his son, Eddie Jackson and his wife Suzanne of Paducah, KY; three grandchildren, Jason Jackson, Dustin Jackson and Aaron Horbobetz; and three great grandchildren, Bailey Jackson, Brandon Jackson and Zoey Horbobetz.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Rollie Jackson and one sister, Elizabeth Edwards. His parents were Dewey Jackson and Lucy Edwards Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. David Hendrickson will officiate and burial will follow in the Benton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
