Kelly Chris Allen, 61 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in an automobile accident in Ripley, TN. He was the Owner/Operator of Kelly Allen Transmission.
Born Monday, August 9, 1954 in Paducah, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Kelly Allen and the late Margaret (Scott) Allen.
Surviving are his wife, Sherri (Wynn) Allen of Benton, KY; son, Kelly Allen, wife Lindsey of Benton, KY, daughter, Ellen Litchfield, husband Cody of Benton, KY, sister, Diane Jones, husband Gurvey of Calvert City, KY; and grandchildren, Dale Allen, Braxton Cole, and Chris Raymond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gary Allen.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Allen Cemetery located at 4918 Scale Rd. Benton, Kentucky with Rev. Charlie Canup and Bruce Riley officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
