Gary Dale Cope, 61, of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 6:08AM Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
He worked as a stockman for Wal-Mart and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father and step mother, Jimmie Don and Frances Cope of Benton, KY; two sisters, Sharon Benrock of Benton, KY and Mary Sue O’Daniel and her husband Matt of Benton, KY; one special nephew, Joseph Benrock and one special niece, Rachel Benrock.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Sue West Cope, one nephew, Jeremy Benrock, maternal grandparents, Terrell and Daisy West and paternal grandparents, Glenton and Edna A. Cope.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30PM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Rev. Joel Frizzell will officiate and burial will follow in the Cole Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
