
DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County Volleyball held their summer camp for grades 2nd – 8th this week on June 8 – 11.
Campers worked on the fundamental skills of volleyball such as passing, setting, serving, attacking and game play.
An awards ceremony took place on the final day from assessments of skills throughout the camp.
Head Coach Dan Langhi was pleased with the number of campers which averaged 70 throughout the camp.
Last season, the Lady Marshals finished with a record of 28-11, won the 4th District Tournament and lost in the second round of the Region 1 Tournament to eventual winner McCracken County. They will officially begin practice for the 2015 season on July 15th.
