Mr. Harold Glenn Pendergrast, 65 of Wingo, KY, formerly of Benton, KY, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at his home of natural causes.
He retired after 33 yeas of service with Continental General Tire Company in Mayfield where he worked as a pipefitter. He was also a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 100.
Born Saturday, July 30, 1949 in Smithland, KY, he was the son of the late Shorty Pendergrast and the late Dorothy Walker.
Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer Pendergrast of Kirksey, KY, Andrea Pendergrast (Bryan Brazil) of Murray, KY, their mother, Kathy Pendergrast of Kirksey, KY and Tracy Lampley of Symsonia, KY, four grandchildren; Shayla Cannon of Benton, KY, James “Buddy” Cureington of Ledbetter, KY, Kasey Jones of Benton, KY and Andrew Brazil of Murray, KY and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Chester Pendergrast of Wingo, KY, three sisters, Tammy Pendergrast of Mayfield, KY, Sue Hall of Mayfield, KY and Bettie Pendergrast of Mayfield, KY, also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Bro. Max Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Iuka Cemetery, Iuka, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
