The track and field All Area 1 Teams and Class AAA Teams have been announced as picked by Area 1 Representatives. Two teams, first covering allArea 1 classes and also divided into just Class AAA.
Individually, five Marshall girls made the Area 1 first and second teams that includes all classes and three relay teams. The boys have seven on the first and second teams along with two relays.
In Class AAA, 19 girls made the first and second teams plus four relays while the boys had 15 individuals and two relays.
Class AAA girl’s first team honors went to Stephanie Russell in 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Michaela Manley in high jump, Amber Crawford and Keagin Brooks in shot put and relay teams in the 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 800.
Second team honors went to Sydney Goff and Brandy Baas in the 100 hurdles, Kara Kelley in the 100 meters, Goff and Kelley in 200 meters, Baas in the 300 meter hurdles, Camryn Crass in the 800 meters, Goff in the long jump, Goff and Audrey Grizzard in pole vault, Emily Colley in shot put and the 4 x 400 relay.
Class AAA boy’s first team honors went to Jack Brown in the 110 meter high hurdles, Nathan Solomon in the 200 meters, Tyler Hega and Jack Brown in the 300 meter high hurdles, Solomon in the 400 meters, Austin Shackleford and Jacob Carnine in the 800 meters, Collin Gunn in the 1600 meters, Solomon in long jump, Casey Gregory in the pole vault and the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relays.
Second team AAA honors went to Tyler Hega in the 110 meter hurdles, Collin Gunn in the 800 meters, Drey Reed and Casey Gregory in the triple jump, and Reed in the high jump.
