Mr. Terry Fay Jeter, age 59 of Benton, KY, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Tuesday, November 15, 1955 in Salem, KY, he was the son of the late W. J. Jeter and the late Mary Edith (Ray) Jeter.
He was a life long Benton Indian, Marshall County Marshal’s mens and womens basketball fan. He was a member of the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Benton, KY.
Surviving are his sister, Linda Tolbert of Benton, KY, two brothers, Randy Jeter, wife Lana of Benton, KY and Norman Jeter, wife Debra of Clarksville, TN. one uncle, Warren E. Ray of Memphis, TN. Eight nieces and nephews: Shelley Noles of Benton, KY, Nikki Wilbanks of Murfreesboro, TN, Chris Jeter of Benton, KY, Clay Jeter of Los Angeles, CA, Brittany Jeter of Benton, KY, Shaun Holland of Benton, KY, Lindsey Briggs of Benton, KY and Clint Holland of Benton, KY. Nine great nieces and nephews: Audrey Noles, Jack Noles, Lauren Noles, Kenzie Briggs, Tate Jeter, Grady Holland, Winnie Holland all of Benton, KY, Finn Wilbanks and Elise Wilbanks both of Murfreesboro, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. C.C. Brasher will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
