Bobby Neal Thweatt, 71 of Benton, Kentucky died on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from General Tire and Rubber.
Born Sunday, January 23, 1944 in Marshall Co., Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elvis Thweatt and the late Emma (Rose) Thweatt.
Surviving are son, Robert Thweatt of Benton, KY, daughter, Renee Thweatt Smith of Evansville, IN, brother, Wayne Thweatt of WV; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 49 years, Maria (Fernandez) Thweatt, and 1 great grandchild. A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Brewers Cemetery with Robert Thweatt officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled. Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 is handling arrangements.
