Fern Bane, 98, of Benton, KY passed away at 2:10PM Friday, May 9, 2015 at her home. She was a member of Missionary Baptist in Bakersfield, California.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Buchannon of Benton, KY and Dolly Barton of Bakersfield, CA; two sons, Donald Bane of Hamlet, IN and Edward Bane of Sherriville, IN; one brother, Bill Dilts of Knox, IN; one sister, Irene Harrell of Knox, IN; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Bane; one daughter, Virginia Travis three brothers, James Dilts, Ray Dilts and Ted Dilts and two sisters, Violet McKay and Betty Harrell. Her parents were, Elmer Dilts and Grace Conn Dilts
There will be no funeral services. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
