Mrs. Amanda Joan Eubanks, 82 of Benton, KY, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. She and her husband were the founding members of Aurora Christian Church. Mrs. Eubanks was a 1952 graduate of Monrovia High School, Monrovia, IN and was retired from Fisher Price Toys in Murray.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Donald E. Eubanks of Benton, KY; daughters, Charlotte Eubanks of Draffenville, KY, Nellie Warren, husband David of Bell City, KY and Charlene Knight, husband Terry of Almo, KY, brother, C A Swope of Plainfield, IN; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Mathis, husband Jonathan of Murray, KY, Jevan Sheppard of Draffenville, KY, Bradley Knight, fiancee’ Kimberly Bess of Almo, KY, Jacob Warren of Bell City, KY; and 2 great grandchildren, Emiersyn and Lilliayn Mathis of Murray, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Anderson and Daisy May (Moore) Swope and sister, Martha Monday. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Donald E. Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens, Murray, KY. Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
