BENTON - Marshall County 4-H hosted three day camps over the summer reaching a total of 24 youth. Themes for the day camps included Science Engineering & Technology, Fun with Agriculture, and 4-H Projects.

BENTON – Pete the Cat, Mario, and a singing fox were just a few of the attractions at the Marshall County Public Library’s seventh annual Family Night at the Library. All three branches of the library system provided entertainment, snacks, and free books as part of Marshall County’s Family Week.

Library workshop offers hands-on tech experience for teens

BENTON – Local teens were able to get hands-on experience with building a computer at the Marshall County Public Library’s Teen Tech Workshop held on Tuesday, August 26. The workshop was part of the library’s efforts to include more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) elements in their programs for students.
