Local Red Cross Directors 'pink slipped' as Vision 2017 restructuring process gets underway

redcross2BENTON - The future of the local Lakeland Red Cross Chapter is uncertain following the issuance of pink slips to area directors yesterday. The move comes in the wake of a restructuring effort by Red Cross, part of the new ‘Vision 2017’ program.

The Reverend Dr. Tom Hiter is a Marshall County native who grew up in and around Fairdealing and attended Fairdealing Elementary School. Later, he attended South Marshall High School, graduating in 1964.
