MURRAY -The greatest tradition in the Ohio Valley Conference was recalled Thursday evening when Murray State men’s basketball held its Racer Hooplalooza fundraiser at the CFSB Center in Murray, Ky.Several former players and coaches returned to Murray State for an event that is expected to become an annual occurrence.
Former coach Mark Gottfried, about to begin his third season at North Carolina State, was this year’s honoree at Racer Hooplalooza.

Murray State Athletics announced the 2014 MSU Hall of Fame class that includes a group of six greats in Racer Athletics history, and one who will be honored as a Hall of Distinction inductee.The 2014 class includes: Nikola Aracic (Men's Tennis, 1998-02), Ben Chamness (Football/Track & Field, 1951-55), Ronald Hopkins (Football 1979-82), Anna Lask (Women's Tennis, 2003-07), Andy Rice (Baseball, 1976-79) and Isaac Spencer (Men's Basketball, 1998-01).
