Fulton County wins CFS Christmas Tournament, CFS takes fifth

jordanchoateDRAFFENVILLE - Christian Fellowship School hosted their annual Itty Bitty Christmas Tournament this past week with games starting on Tuesday and finishing up on Saturday.
CFS lost to Fulton County, 54-33, on Tuesday with 11 Fulton County players posting points, led by Davis Major and Steven Roberson with 10 each. CFS was led in scoring by John Ward with 13.


NUMBER 1,000: Marshall County girl's basketball program first in state to reach milestone

ladymarshalsDRAFFENVILLE - With their overtime win over Kenwood, TN, Friday in the Lady Marshals Holiday Shoot-out, the Marshall County girl's basketball program became the first team in the state of Kentucky to reach 1,000 wins.

Hoopfest a "must-see" event for coaches across the nation

brucepearlDRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County's 19th Hoopfest has been over for more than a week with many coaches and assistant coaches from across the nation in attendance, once again making the Hoopfest the place to "see and be seen" for the players and college coaches who can see an abundance of talent all in one place.

Marshals fall to McCracken County, hope to rebound against Murray after three straight losses

nathansolomonPADUCAH - Marshall County and McCracken County's last meeting on the basketball court came in the Region One Tournament championship game last season, where the Mustangs won 43-41 in overtime. It's a new season with new team dynamics, but the rivalry of the two MCHS's remains.

Lady Marshals 5-0 following win over McCracken County

hannahlanghi2PADUCAH - Hannah Langhi scored the first four points for the Lady Marshals, who never trailed the Lady Mustangs on their way to a 49-23 win Friday at McCracken County High School. The win marked the 999th win in program history.

CFSB brings Coach Cal to speak at Reed Conder Gym December 15th

coachcalapari1BENTON - Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) presents John Calipari, Head Coach of the top-ranked University of Kentucky Wildcats, in a speaking engagement on December 15th at 6:30pm.  The event will be held in Reed Conder Gymnasium at Marshall County High School. Coach Calipari will be discussing the tenants of his latest book, Players First: Coaching from the Inside Out. Tickets are just $5.00 and are available while supplies last at:
