Christian Fellowship girls get win over St. Francis, boys still looking for first victory

emilynelsonDRAFFENVILLE - Christian Fellowship varsity girls' basketball program's last season with more than three wins dates back to 2005-2006 when they went 8-10 that year. This year's team has three wins at this point in the season (3-9), the most since that 2005-2006 season, with four years in that time period where there was no girls team at CFS.

BMS 7th grade girls win Invitational, extend record to 16-1

bms7thgirlsBENTON - The Benton Middle School 7th grade girl’s basketball team finished their season on a high note this past weekend by winning the BMS 7th Grade Girls Invitational tournament held at BMS on Jan. 10th and 11th. The eight teams participating in the tournament were:  North Marshall, South Marshall, Benton, Mayfield, Calloway, Murray, Graves Co. (Gray) and Graves Co. (Blue).

Tilghman win a boost for Marshals heading into Friday against Graves County

djpigg1PADUCAH - Marshall County's win Tuesday over Tilghman was a much needed moral boost after dropping a district game on Friday to Calloway County 43-31 and their last second 64-62 loss to Massac County Saturday in McCracken's Mustang Madness.


Lady Marshals improve to 14-2 after win at Paducah Tilghman

baileygreerPADUCAH - A win at Paducah Tilghman is always a good win and the Lady Marshals got that win Tuesday 52-44 over the Lady Tornados to advance their record to 14-2.


Marshals fall to Calloway and Massac, Rentfrow joins the 1,000 point club

landontaylorPADUCAH - After a tough night at Calloway County Friday when the Marshals fell to the Lakers 43-31, a win in their noon game Saturday against Massac County, IL, in the Mustang Madness at McCracken County High School would be nice boost, but that was not to be as the Marshals lost 64-62 in the final 1.9 seconds of the game when Marshall's Landon Taylor was called for foul in a scramble on the floor for the ball which sent Davontay Blye to the line, making both for the last second win.


A winning weekend for Lady Marshals, Barnard led the way with 43 points

alyssabarnard2MURRAY - After a big second half against Calloway County on Friday in Murray to pick up a 53-49 district win, the Lady Marshals played an early 9:00 a.m. game in the Mustang Madness Saturday at McCracken County High School looking like a team fresh off a great night's sleep picking up a 73-50 win over a good Goreville, IL team.
