GRAVES COUNTY - The North Marshall Middle School Boy’s Basketball team battled their way to an impressive win over Ballard County in the first round of regional play last night in Graves County.
North started out strong, taking a commanding lead in the first quarter of the game, on top 15 -4 when Ballard sunk a three-pointer at the buzzer taking it to 15-7 at the beginning of the second.

Marshall County High School will celebrate Basketball Homecoming Friday at Reed Conder Gymnasium when the Lady Marshals and Marshals take on 1st Region rival Graves County.
The 2013 Basketball Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned at 5:20 before the Lady Marshals game at 6:00.

PADUCAH - Paducah Tilghman kept the game within reach, dropping in 11 three pointers against the Marshals, but Marshall County held on for a 64-54 victory, the same 10 point margin they beat the Blue Tornados by on January 8 at home when they won 60-50.

PADUCAH - Hoping to even things up after their loss to the Lady Tornados at home earlier this month, the Lady Marshals fell short losing to Tilghman 61-49 Friday.

BENTON - Benton Middle School was host last week to the 8th grade girls and boys 4th District Tournament.
The tournament kicked off on Tuesday with Calloway County beating the North Marshall girls 29-18 followed by a South Marshall boy's win over Murray 35-34. The final Tuesday game was the girls from South Marshall getting a 33-28 win over Murray.

DRAFFENVILLE - Four Lady Marshals were in double figures in the scoring column Tuesday after their 64-48 win over Christian County with Taylor Meadows leading the way with 20 points followed by Alyssa Barnard with 13, Mariah McKenty 12 and Bailey Greer 11.
