Greer becomes 20th Lady Marshal to reach the 1,000th point milestone

baileygreer2DRAFFENVILLE - With her 16th point in the third quarter, Bailey Greer added her name to the prestigious list of players who have reached 1,000 points in their career, becoming the 20th Lady Marshal to reach the milestone.

Marshals fall to Arnold, FL in Saturday's Gunner's Magic Train Classic

collintravis5DRAFFENVILLE - Making the trip north from Panama City Beach, FL, the Arnold Marlins were back for the Gunner's Magic Train Classic for the first time since 2012 after playing in the first three of six Gunner Classic's. Their only wins to date came in 2010 against Lyon County and Daviess County, but that would not be the case in 2015.


Marshals win by one in overtime game against McCracken County

dylanwalters2DRAFFENVILLE - Nothing seemed to go right for the Marshals against McCracken County in the first quarter of the Gunner's Magic Train Classic game on Friday, only putting up two points in the quarter on free throws by Collin Travis.
The game turned around for the Marshals in the second half, with regulation not being enough needing an overtime period to pull out a 51-50 win.


Greer, Langhi lead Lady Marshals in 16 point win over Lady Mustangs

laynechesser1DRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County (14-6) and McCracken County (4-14) girl's teams met for the second time this season in the 6th Annual Gunner's Magic Train Classic at Marshall County High School. The Lady Marshals beat the Lady Mustangs in their first meeting at McCracken County 49-23 on December 12th and took the win Friday, 59-43, never trailing in the game from the opening basket.


North Marshall boys win District Championship for third straight year

nmms7thNorth Marshall Middle School 7th grade boy's team won the coveted title of District Champions capping off an undefeated season.
Saturday, January 17, the 7th grade boy's basketball district tournament was held at South Marshall Middle School.

Lady Marshals struggle in two-point win over Hopkinsville

brileyenglishHOPKINSVILLE - Hopkinsville (4-12) did not play like a team with just four wins Tuesday, controlling the game in almost every area, but the Lady Marshals after trailing the majority of the game, managed to pull off a 44-42 win.
Lady Marshals Head Coach Joseph Simmons felt his team overlooked Hopkinsville and were out-hustled and out-worked.
"It's a win", Simmons said. "That's the only positive we can take out of this."
