Oak Hill Academy powers through Curie and Southwind at 2012 Hoopfest

Harrison twins a terrific twosome at Marshall County Hoopfest

Top player Wiggins did not disappoint the Hoopfest capacity crowd

Huntington Prep's Andrew Wiggins had 54 points in his two Hoopfest games and hit 17 of 20 attempts from the free throw line.DRAFFENVILLE - After watching our own Lady Marshals and Marshals play the first two games of Friday's opening session of the 2012 Hoopfest, basketball fans settled into their seats in the filled-to-capacity Reed Conder Gymnasium with their barbecue nachos and Happy Cow ice cream ready to watch the number one high school team in the nation.

Marshals go 2-0 in 2012 Marshall County Hoopfest

This dunk attempt by Austin Rentfrow was unsuccessful but he went on to earn MVP honors in the Marshals win over Massac County.DRAFFENVILLE - Massac County High School in Metropolis, Illinois, is where the Hoopfest began 17 years ago and is celebrating it's 12th year at Marshall County High School. Massac County boy's and girl's teams have been a Hoopfest staple and played in the first two games of the 2012 Hoopfest against the Lady Marshals and Marshals.

Lady Marshals split games in 17th Annual Hoopfest

Senior Taylor Meadows handles the ball in the Lady Marshals one point win over Massac County in Friday's Marshall County Hoopfest.DRAFFENVILLE - In the opening game of the 17th Annual Marshall County Hoopfest Friday, the Lady Marshals played the Massac County Lady Patriots pulling out a one point 49-48 win on a final free throw by Alyssa Barnard with three tenths of a second left on the clock that gave the Lady Marshals the win.
