Marshals hold Bombers off in season opener behind Wooten's 24 points

masonwootenDRAFFENVILLE - Challenged right out of the gate by Ballard Memorial in their season opener Tuesday, the Marshals survived a great second half surge from the Bombers, who out-scored the Marshals 32-29 in the half, to win 57-51.

Lady Marshals open season with win over Ballard Memorial

hannahlanghiDRAFFENVILLE - Following a 3-pointer by Ballard Memorial's Leah Shelley to tie 4-4 early in the first quarter, it was all Marshall County from there, as the Lady Marshals went on to beat the Lady Bombers 56-28 in their season opener at home Tuesday.


Late addition brings #4 player in the nation and UK signee, to Hoopfest 2014

hoopfest1Skal Labissiere, a 6'11" forward, considered to be one of the best high school players in the Class of 2015 (#4, is a late addition to Hoopfest 2014 list of players to watch.
Labissiere, who played for Evangelical Christian his first three years of high school, now plays for RYD Prep who is scheduled to play Oak Hill Academy on Friday, December 5th at 4:00.

Lady Marshal seniors look to finish out career with fourth consecutive 1st Region title


DRAFFENVILLE - Led by four seniors, Bailey Greer, Amanda Bailey, Michaela Manley and Melissa Ross, the Lady Marshals basketball team will be looking for their fourth consecutive 1st Region Championship this season and a third straight trip to the KHSAA Sweet 16 State Tournament, but there's a lot of games to be played between now and then starting with their first regular season game on December 2nd at home against Ballard Memorial.


Marshals will face tough district and regional competition this season

boysbasketballDRAFFENVILLE - Last season ended for the Marshals in an overtime loss to McCracken County in the 1st Region Tournament that ended a 9-game win streak, capping off their 23-11 season.
