Greer and Solomon named Marshall County Basketball Homecoming queen and king

homecoming1DRAFFENVILLE - Bailey Greer and Nathan Solomon were crowned Homecoming queen and king Friday before the Lady Marshals and Marshals game. Making the presentations to the newly crowned homecoming royality was last year's queen Toni Fehrenbacher and king Austin Spicer.

Marshals fall 55-36 to Calloway County Friday

piggDRAFFENVILLE - Calloway County (24-3) seemed to make everything they threw up in the first half against the Marshals Friday, hitting six 3-pointers in the half from four different players on their way to a 55-36 victory.

Lady Marshals pick up Homecoming win over Calloway County, 57-29

brileyenglishDRAFFENVILLE - Miyah Davis hit 4 of 5 from three point range to lead the Lady Marshals with 12 points on their way to a 57-29 victory over Calloway County Friday. The win extends the Lady Marshals record to 18-9 and they will meet the Lady Lakers again on February 23rd in the #2 and #3 seed game of the District Tournament at Murray High.

Senior Night win for the Lady Marshals over Livingston Central

ladymarshalseniorsDRAFFENVILLE - Seniors Bailey Greer, Melissa Ross, Michaela Manley and Amanda Bailey were recognized in Senior Night activities before the Lady Marshals took the floor to play Livingston Central. Led by Greer with 17 points, the Lady Marshals 61-30 win extends their record to 18-9 going into the final three games of the regular season.

Benton Elementary student wins Hoop Shoot State Championship

kyzerFRANKFORT - Kyzer Phillips, a Benton Elementary 2nd grade student, is a State Champion! On February 7th, Kyzer competed in the Kentucky Elks Hoop Shoot in Frankfort where he sank 21 of 25 free throws to win the 8-9 year old division State Championship.
