Seven medal, boy's varsity 2nd at Owensboro Invitational

crosscountryDRAFFENVILLE - In an effort to raise money to purchase items needed by the runners for the cross country season, the team held a Run-a-Thon Friday that began with the opening kick of the Marshall-Calloway football game Friday, logging 500 miles among the team members.

Cross Country team tests their legs in first meet of 2014 season

jacobcarnineBOWLING GREEN - Cross Country season officially got under way Saturday for the Marshall runners at the Raider Twilight Run in Bowling Green. The first meet originally slated for August 25th at McCracken County was cancelled due to heat.
Both the boys and girls Varsity teams placed 5th with South Warren capturing 1st in the girls division and Warren East 1st overall in the boys.

Cross Country runners earn All Area 1 honors

jacobcarnineDRAFFENVILLE - Ten Marshall cross country runners were named to the All-Area 1 team, ranking them in the top 10 in our area.
Jacob Carnine was named to the All-Area 1 boy's varsity team as well as Class 3A All-Area 1 team.

Determination put Marshall runners on the start line at Saturday's state meet

jacobcarnine1LEXINGTON - Daviess County's Whitney O'Bryan and Butler's Patrick Gregory captured the KHSAA State Cross Country individual titles Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park course in Lexington. O'Bryan crossed the finish in the 5,000 meter race in 18:09.00 while Gregory stopped the clock in a blistering 15:55.18.


Marshall will be well represented at Saturday's Cross Country State Championships

crosscountryDRAFFENVILLE - Nine Marshall County cross country athletes are making the trip today to Lexington for the KHSAA State Cross Country Championship at the Kentucky Horse Farm. The team will practice on the course from 3:30-5:30 today with the meet taking place on Saturday.

Daviess County sweeps Class 3A Region 1 meet, Marshall girls, Carnine qualify for state

dolby-carnineDRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County was host to the Region 1 Class 1A, 2A and 3A Cross Country meet Saturday with great results for the host team as the girls team qualified for the KHSAA State Cross Country meet as well as Jacob Carnine for the boys.
