hannahlanghi1DRAFFENVILLE - Wins over Ballard Memorial and Hickman County for the Lady Marshals Volleyball team were followed by two losses to Edmonson County 0-2 (25-23, 25-19) and Daviess County 0-2 (25-18, 25-19) in the Apollo Summer Slam in Owensboro.

Lady Marshals Volleyball off to 2-0 start, more experience on the court this season

volleyballDRAFFENVILLE - Coach Dan Langhi's Lady Marshals volleyball team is still young, but brings more experience to the court this season, and Monday night in Marshall County's Auxiliary Gym, that experience paid off as the Lady Marshals pulled off a 3-1 victory over Ballard Memorial in their first game of the season after trailing in the fourth game 24-18, scoring eight straight points for the win.

hannahlanghi1BARLOW - Ballard Memorial ended the Marshall County Volleyball season Monday in the first round of the 1st Region Tournament at Ballard winning 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20).

hannahlanghiDRAFFENVILLE - After dropping the first game 18-25 to Livingston Central, the Lady Marshals volleyball team won the next three straight (25-23, 25-17, 25-23) to beat the Lady Cardinals 3-1 Tuesday.

Lady Marshals setting up for important district games down the stretch

DRAFFENVILLE - After a four-game winning streak was halted with a loss to Ballard Memorial, then a 3-2 (16-25, 25-15, 25-11, 17-25, 15-11) loss to 4th District opponent Murray High on September 12th, the Lady Marshals have won their last three games over Livingston Central 3-1 (25-14, 25-15, 24-26, 25-10), Christian Fellowship 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-18) and Paducah Tilghman 3-0 (25-5, 25-17, 25-10).

Ballard ends Lady Marshals four-game win streak


DRAFFENVILLE - Ballard Memorial ended the Lady Marshals four-game win streak Tuesday at Marshall County winning three games to one after the Lady Marshals took the first game 25-19 getting the final two points on kills from Sydney Nelson and Hannah Langhi and a string of good serves by Savannah Thornton.
