Nathan Solomon signs with Kentucky Wesleyan track program

solomonBENTON - Nathan Solomon signed on Thursday to run track for Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro. Nathan has been a multi-sport athlete at Marshall County, excelling in soccer, basketball and track.

Levi Darnall signs to play soccer with the University of Southern Indiana

darnallBENTON - Marshall County soccer player, Levi Darnall, signed on Thursday to play soccer for the University of Sourthern Indiana in Evansville under Head Coach Mat Santoro and Assistant Coach Robert Bennett.
USI is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, considered the best in the nation.


Melissa Ross signs to play soccer for Freed Hardeman

melissaross5DRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County soccer player, Melissa Ross, signed her letter of intent Friday to play for Freed Hardeman. Melissa will play for Head Coach Jason Elliott who led the Lady Lions to a 7-9-1 record in 2014.

Daviess County ends Marshals championship season

davidpenneyDRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County's championship season came to an end Tuesday at Colburn Stadium at the hands of Daviess County, who had not lost a game since August 29th. Coming into Tuesday's game, the 22-2-1 Panthers had been riding a 20 game win-streak.

Owensboro Catholic ends Lady Marshals season in opening round of state play-offs

kaylatravisDRAFFENVILLE - Owensboro Catholic came into Monday's sub-state game at Colburn Stadium with just one loss, a 1-0 game against Assumption on October 5th, ranked 4th in the state. The Lady Aces lived up to that ranking in their 5-2 win over the Lady Marshals advancing to the round of eight where they will meet West Jessamine November 1st at Lafayette.


Marshals win it! Beat McCracken 2-1 for 1st Region title

boysregionchampsDRAFFENVILLE - Last year's 1st Region Championship 2-1 loss on penalty kicks to Graves County still weighs heavy on the hearts of the Marshals, but much of that was lifted Thursday at Colburn Stadium when the Marshals beat McCracken County 2-1 in the title game.
